"Willing to Listen" is a poetry collection that focuses on the meaning of community, aging, family dynamics, and the things of life that happen every day. While the book title refers to a poem in the collection, it also refers to a concept; the willingness to listen as a statement of strength and perseverance. Poetry is often a two-way conversation, and the journal contained within the collection encourages the reader to have a longer conversation with the work.
