This day speaks of life

Restored ends weave patterns of beginnings

divine completeness 

Willowing trees with no room for weeping

 Space over yonder For sleeping 

Bright

as 

hope...

To Evan:

 A double portion 

Gentle like completeness Ringing footsteps 

On an iron hill 

Dust becomes a companion When the road is long

And Time Is always invited 

Walk

and run

and never faint..

To James:

 If you were an island

You’d ride the waves 

In slow motion 

While the world stared 

Amazed 

Blending into boardrooms and barn stalls

Unashamed

 Unafraid...

To Olivia:

Keep choosing joy 

Your life anthem

Found out you don’t need permission 

To have your eyes

Laughter is medicine

 And you fill prescriptions...

To mom:

but alike in so many ways

I pray we only grow closer

with each passing day

You are 100% extroverted

"I think out loud" you used to say

I never quite understood it

Until I started "thinking out loud"

the very same way...

It's like watching 

the sweetest film

replay in my mind

all the moments

you were there

always

And somehow you knew

with a smile

a warm muffin

a kiss on the forehead

how to make everything else seem so small

in comparison to your love...

through so many facets

the impact
